Fun(d) Raising

There are various ways to participate in raising funds to support Covenant Christian Church.

Scrip is a program that runs year-round.  Covenant has teamed up with the Great Lakes Scrip Center for this fundraiser. Scrip is a gift card program where YOU the consumer purchases gift cards to some of your favorite places.  Places that you are probably going to spend money anyhow.  You purchase the cards at full face value and receive a card for that amount.  Covenant in turn receives a discount on the purchase and earns income.  Please contact our scrip volunteers to learn more, or if you are already signed up online, start shopping!

Spring Daze & Lazy Daze

Each spring and summer Covenant runs a concession booth at Cary’s Arts & Crafts festivals.  Spring Daze is held each April at Bond Park.  Lazy Daze is held each August in downtown Cary.  These two events are major fundraisers for Covenant.   We work hard, but have fun doing so.  Our menu is extremely popular and consists of the following:  Sausage Biscuits, Polish Sausage Sandwiches,  Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwiches, and Award Winning Grilled Chicken Wraps.  We server a variety of beverages also.  Come visit us and show your support, or volunteer to help by contacting the church office.

Fun(d) Raising Day

Each fall our women’s group hosts a craft and bake sale.  This event is a major fundraiser for this fellowship group and provides a great day of fun and fellowship for the entire church family.  Covenant is known for our great food and cooking so don’t be surprised to see us offering Sausage Biscuits in the morning and BBQ Chicken plates for lunch!

Butter Braids

Each year during Fun(d) Raising Saturday, the youth of the church offer the opportunity for you to purchase one or more wonderful Butter Braid products.  These pastries are excellent and since they come frozen, you can stock the freezer!  The sale of these butter braids helps to youth groups of the church go on mission trips and have fun throughout the year.

Spring & Fall Plant Sale

When you get that itch to spruce up your garden, Covenant has been getting ready for you!  Each spring and fall we host a plant sale to raise money for the church, but also to brighten your garden.  Our plants and flowers come from Homewood Nursery in Raleigh, so you know you’re getting quality.  The majority of our sales are pre-orders, but we usually have some extras for those who missed the order deadline.  Additionally, when you come to pick up your order, don’t be too surprised to find some special beauties waiting that weren’t on the order sheet.  To learn more about how you can help, or to inquire about ordering, please contact the church office.
